Elementary Montessori Teacher
Mrs Teresa Elliott has been a Montessori Teacher since 2011. Mrs Elliot is passionate about the Montessori method as she believes the Montessori curriculum and environment are engaging and inviting; truly motivating students to work, learn and discover. Mrs Elliott particularly enjoys the practical hands-on approach where the children get to work with and engage with the materials. She enjoys seeing the process and growth unfold as the students move from the concrete to the abstract. Her favorite subjects to teach are History, Geography and Botany. Mrs Elliott loves nature and is an avid bird watcher and enjoys hatching monarch butterflies. Mrs Elliott enjoys spending time outdoors in nature, travelling in Northern Ontario with her family, hiking and walking with her dogs. Mrs Elliot considers the Montessori method a very natural approach, using the principles when raising her own children. She is a mother to two grown adult children.
