Music Teacher
Ms Dickson brings over 30 years of professional music experience as a performer, composer,
and dedicated educator. She has taught in a wide range of contexts, from private lessons to
college classrooms, and has led choirs, ensembles, and early childhood music programs. Ms
Dickson holds an Honours Bachelor of Music Education from McMaster University, an Honours
Graduate Diploma in Applied Music (Jazz Piano) from Mohawk College, and additional studies
in Songwriting at Berklee College of Music.
Ms Dickson is passionate about nurturing each child’s natural creativity and curiosity through
music. She integrates singing, movement, and instrumental exploration to foster cognitive,
emotional, and physical growth. Her students are inspired by her warmth, professionalism, and
artistry, and she has a long record of guiding learners to excel in performances, festivals, and
exams with distinction. Ms Dickson is committed to making music a joyful and enriching part of
her students’ lives.
